Pablo Abehsera-Morell is a researcher and developer in room acoustics, signal processing and auditory perception.

He earned his Ph.D. in Acoustics at the Sorbonne Université/CNRS ∂ ’Alembert Institute, Paris, in 2026. His work in the LAM – Sound Spaces team investigated auditory perception in the context of virtual and interactive environments, with a focus on source directivity.

Before joining ∂’Alembert, he earned a B.Sc. (Hons) in Music Technology and Audio Systems at the University of Huddersfield in June 2021, and an M.Sc in Audio and Music Technology at the University of York in September 2022. During his undergraduate studies, he spent a year working on immersive audio as a sound engineer at Fraunhofer IIS in Erlangen, Germany.
